catch of week twenty five (2012)

Thought I’d share my latest set taken at Anilao, Batangas the past weekend.  It was the first time I used my 50mm Compact Macro and corresponding new port.  I really like its product… 🙂

Great weather plus I got to meet and dive with a lovely couple from Spain – Carmelo and Laura.

It was Kay’s birthday weekend dive… my sister finally decides to take an intro dive… great company… nice weekend…

a meal over friends

It seems that a new tradition has been started.  For the second year running, before a friend leaves the country for an eight or so month work contract, we get together to break bread.

The suspects are: Rene, Gary, Ser-J and myself.  Classmates from 1st to 4th year high school, Gary and I even stretching into University.

It just never gets old… the stories and the jests.  We talk about the good ‘ole days, we talk about the present, and what lies ahead.

I’d receive a SMS about a week or two before, confirm the date, and draw up a menu… I like to cook, like to entertain, like to have friends around.

Menu: Onion Soup, Stir fry pepper steak, penne with 2 tomato sauce, cakes for dessert.

Simple, easy to make… good food.  Great company… what more can you ask?  I know – hope this “tradition” keeps on going.
